Hello all! After seven years of making music with Tand, I’ve made the tough decision to step away from the band. Some of the best memories of my life have been on the road and on stage with my musical brothers. The hard reality for me is that for the last two decades, I’ve been running double duty chasing my dreams in the music industry – while also being employed full time. Since the formation of the band – I’ve been handling all of our business, marketing, booking and management – while Taylor has led up the songwriting and musical direction. Although I consider myself to be the kind of personality that thrives in constant madness, it’s definitely caught up with me the last few years.
While I’m proud of all of the accomplishments that we’ve made thus far, the band deserves to be a priority in all of its members lives and I just cannot offer that level of commitment right now. With that said, I’ve given Taylor my full blessing to continue on without me, and I have been doing all that I can behind the scenes to assist with a smooth transition. With Taylor at the helm, the catalog will remain the same and the vision of the band will live on. We’re all in good spirits, and I’m excited to close out this chapter in my life over the next month with the Harvest Music Festival in Raleigh, NC on October 18th being my final show.
Thank you to all our amazing fans, crew, Taylor, Pete, Ali, Tyler, Harley, Rob, Jordan, and Mike for making this ride so great.
